Teaira Daniels, NMOSD Contributor

Teaira Daniels, born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, was diagnosed with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) in 2015. Her daughter, Amariyah, passed away from the rare Pompe disease in 2009. Teaira, trained in broadcast media, is a powerful voice for the challenges NMOSD and other rare disease patients face. She lists music, traveling, and shopping as her leisure time activities.
